Ultimate Table Tennis (UTT) and Aatral have partnered to provide a unique Table Tennis experience in Metaverse, aimed at revolutionising fan engagement. This marks a significant step to create an immersive and interactive virtual experience for table tennis enthusiasts. Aatral’s prowess in augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) will help to create a one-of-a-kind fan experience for table tennis fans.
UTT, recognising the potential of the gaming industry and its significance in India, is committed to providing fans with innovative ways to connect with the sport. Three to four Table Tennis-themed mini-games will be available for download from the Google Play Store, App Store, and UTT website by the end of June 2023.
Aatral is creating a fan-engaging environment in 3D space that will offer fans a distinctive environment with a variety of gaming options, enabling table tennis fans to enjoy the sport anytime, anywhere with this portable gaming experience. The games will utilise VR, AR and mixed reality to transport players across borders, providing an unparalleled platform for fans to connect with their favourite sport and players in ways they have never imagined.
UTT and Aatral will also have experiential stalls set up across select venues featuring interactive stations where fans can engage in virtual table tennis matches using VR/AR equipment. Promoted by Niraj Bajaj and Vita Dani under the auspices of the Table Tennis Federation of India, UTT Season Four will be played at the Balewadi Sports Complex in Pune from 13 to 30 July.
