Usher Turns Up the Heat in 2 Outfits and Takes Off His Shirt for Super Sexy 2024 Super Bowl Halftime Performance
Usher brought his signature style to the 2024 Super Bowl at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas — and you bet it made us say: Yeah!
After weeks of anticipation, the music icon, 45, nailed his halftime show performance, during which he sang hit after hit including My Boo, Confessions and Yeah!
The singer — who brought out H.E.R, Alicia Keys, Will I Am, Lil Jon and Ludacris (the latter two he previously said he’d be a fool not to have join him onstage) for his performance, wore Dolce & Gabbana.
His first outfit was all cream and featured a coat over a cropped jacket with a brooch, both of which he took off to reveal a bedazzled top. Soon after, Usher ditched that top too and briefly bared his abs before he stepped offstage for an outfit change. For this look Usher also wore matching gloves, one of which he took off in an apparent nod to Michael Jackson.
He definitely brought the heat tonight with his style and performance, said one excited fan in the audience. Usher still knows how to captivate a crowd!
Usher then emerged in a shimmering blue-and-black look — and roller skates — for the second half of his electrifying set.
Not just R&B music, but R&B performance, R&B connection, R&B spirit, he said.
The artist admitted that it was difficult trying to fit 30-years’ worth of hits into a 13-minute set. But in anticipation of the event he’d been getting notes from everyone from Katy Perry to his children.
No matter which team wins the Super Bowl, the Kansas City Chiefs or the San Francisco 49ers, by all accounts Usher had the best week ever. Ahead of his album drop, he announced that he’s embarking on a North American tour beginning in August.
People are still buzzing about Usher’s halftime performance, shared a representative from the NFL. We couldn’t be happier with how it all turned out.
He also starred in a newly-launched SKIMS mens campaign (we have no doubt he’s wearing the brand under his outfit tonight) and released his own Super Bowl merch collection with the NFL.
The Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers will face off in Super Bowl LVIII, airing on CBS on Feb. 11 at 6:30 p.m. ET.
Usher’s incredible halftime show had spectators and viewers alike mesmerized. With his stunning outfits, energetic performances, and star-studded collaborations, Usher certainly brought the heat to the Super Bowl stage. As his fans eagerly await his upcoming album and North American tour, it’s clear that Usher’s reign in the music industry remains stronger than ever.
