The Union Home Minister Amit Shah has accused the Congress-led UPA government of being involved in scams worth Rs 12 lakh crore. He made these remarks while addressing a gathering in Jammu, where he also criticized the National Conference and the People’s Democratic Party.

Shah assured the public that the Narendra Modi government has laid a robust foundation for the eradication of corruption in the country. He spoke about the decline in terror activities and stone-pelting since the abrogation of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir in 2019.

The Union Home Minister referred to the significant loss of lives under terrorism in the region and questioned who will take responsibility for the same. He highlighted that it was time to bring change and create a new Jammu and Kashmir.

Shah’s speech was delivered with a clear attacking tone towards opposition parties, emphasizing how the current government prioritizes creating a corruption-free country, a safer Jammu and Kashmir, and improving the overall development of the nation.

Overall, the Home Minister’s speech was heavily political in tone, highlighting the achievements and failures of different parties. It remains to be seen how the speech will impact the political climate in the region and the rest of the country.
