The Summit League has released the official schedules for the University of North Dakota’s men’s and women’s basketball teams, and fans are in for an exciting season filled with fierce rivalries and thrilling doubleheaders. The highlight of the season will be two highly anticipated matchups against North Dakota State.
Starting off, the UND women’s basketball team will hit the road for their opening game against St. Thomas on Friday, December 29. On the other hand, the men’s team will have their season opener at home against St. Thomas on the same day, and then travel to South Dakota State on December 31.
One of the most eagerly awaited games will be when the women’s team takes on defending regular season and tournament champion South Dakota State at home on New Year’s Eve and again in Brookings on February 29.
Mark your calendars for the doubleheader showdowns against North Dakota State! The women’s and men’s teams will face off against their rivals at home on February 3 and then hit the road to battle it out at the Scheels Center on February 24.
Additionally, as part of the Summit League-Big Sky Challenge, the women’s team will travel to Idaho State on January 3 and host Eastern Washington on January 6. Meanwhile, the men’s team will have their own Challenge, hosting Northern Colorado on January 3 and making their way to Northern Arizona on January 6.
To bring the regular season to a close, the women’s basketball team will have three crucial away games: North Dakota State, South Dakota State, and South Dakota. On the men’s side, they will host South Dakota State and South Dakota in what promises to be an intense finish to the season.
