Liverpool midfielder Fabinho’s future at the club is now uncertain as Saudi Arabian club Al-Ittihad has made a £40 million bid for the Brazilian. This offer has resulted in Fabinho’s omission from Liverpool’s squad for their training camp in Germany.
The bid for Fabinho was received by Liverpool on Friday evening, and after discussions between the club and the player, it was decided to remove him from the touring party. Fabinho joined Liverpool in 2018 from Monaco in a transfer worth £39 million and has since been a key player in their success, contributing to their victories in various competitions.
This potential departure raises questions about Liverpool’s midfield options, especially considering the recent departures of James Milner, Naby Keita, and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
