The Ministry of Economy and the South Korean Ministry of SMEs & Startups will host K-Business Day in the Middle East in 2023 to build links between Korean and UAE startups and craft sustainable partnerships in technology, AI, medical, and energy sectors. The event will take place on 12 and 13 June at the Dubai World Trade Center, Abu Dhabi. H.E. Abdulla Bin Touq Al Marri, UAE Minister of Economy, and Lee Young, South Korean Minister of SMEs and Startups, will participate in the event, which will bring together more than 100 startups from the UAE and 80 enterprises from South Korea. It aims to facilitate exploration of sustainable partnerships across sectors for range of businesses from both countries. The event is the result of an MoU agreement signed by both countries in January 2023, during South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol’s visit to the UAE. K-Business Day in the Middle East is a significant event that highlights the importance of enhancing partnerships between startups in the UAE and South Korea, bringing together investors and business incubators to explore new investment opportunities with the entrepreneurial ideas and startups participating in the event.
