Two people have been injured as a bomb exploded in the Manoharpur area under Madhusudanpur police station in Bihar’s Bhagalpur district on Thursday evening. According to the Bhagalpur SSP, Anand Kumar, the injured individuals have been taken to JLN Medical College and Hospital Mayaganj, and their condition is currently stable. Kumar added that the entire area has been cordoned off to avoid any further untoward incidents, and the bomb and dog squads have been called in for investigation. The police team is also taking the statements of the injured and any witnesses present at the time of the explosion.
The incident occurred at around 5 p.m. while the injured individuals were in a garden. The nearby house was also damaged due to the loud explosion, which attracted a large number of villagers to the scene.
