Special Operations Group (SOG) of Morbi police successfully carried out a major drug seizure operation near Paneli village on the Morbi-Wankaner highway. Two individuals, identified as Sajil alias Sajlo Bloch and Rajak Ghanchi, were apprehended during the operation. The SOG team, acting on a tip-off, kept a close watch on the suspects who were known to engage in suspicious activities near a hotel on the highway.
The team made its move just as the two were about to deliver the contraband to their client. A substantial amount of mephedrone, popularly known as MD, was seized from the suspects. Weighing a total of 64.20 grams, the confiscated drug had an estimated market value of Rs 6.42 lakh.
