During the same trip, Trump allegedly referred to fallen Marines in the historic Belleau Wood battle as suckers.
While Trump has a history of attacking his critics on social media, including recent confrontations with a New York law clerk and retired U.S. Army General Mark Milley, his responses have faced backlash.
