Agartala (Tripura) [India], January 3 (ANI): Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha addressed public grievances and concerns during the 25th session of the ‘Mukhyamantri Samipeshu’ program held at the official residence. The program aims to establish better communication between the government and the people, focusing on resolving various issues faced by the public.

During the session, Chief Minister Saha actively listened to the problems, shortages, and complaints voiced by individuals from different parts of the state. Medical assistance was a common request, and the Chief Minister promptly took action after reviewing the relevant documents and instructed officials to address the issues.

One such case involved Mithun Banik from Santchand of Manubazar, who sought financial assistance for his 7-year-old son suffering from thalassemia and hepatitis. After examining the medical documents, CM Saha directed GB Hospital Medical Superintendent Shankar Chakraborty to take immediate measures.

Another participant, Akash Debbarma from Mandwai in West Tripura district, approached the Chief Minister regarding his father’s spinal problems. The non-renewal of their Ayushman card had caused difficulties in accessing treatment. CM Saha reviewed the medical documents and Ayushman card, instructing Health Secretary Sandeep R Rathore to promptly renew the card. Additionally, the Chief Minister directed Shankar Chakraborty to provide further medical assistance to Akash Debbarma’s father.

Numerous other participants, including Nachiketa Nag of Bishalgarh, Purna Debnath of Hapania, Rupen Shiv of Baradowali, Mithun Dhar of Badharghat, and Swapan Chakraborty of Kanthaltali, were also assured of medical assistance during the Mukhyamantri Samipeshu program.

Chief Minister’s Secretary Pradeep Kumar Chakraborty, Health Secretary Sandeep R. Rathore, Social Welfare and Social Education Department Secretary Tapas Roy, GB Hospital Medical Superintendent Shankar Chakraborty, and Cancer Hospital Medical Superintendent Dr S. Debbarma were present at the event.

The ‘Mukhyamantri Samipeshu’ program continues to serve as a platform for individuals to voice their concerns directly to the Chief Minister. It exemplifies the government’s commitment to addressing public grievances and ensuring the overall welfare of the people of Tripura.
