12-Year-Old Girl Fatally Stabbed in Tragic Incident in Kalyan
In a heart-wrenching incident in Kalyan East, a 12-year-old girl was tragically stabbed to death by a 20-year-old man named Aditya. The shocking incident took place in Durga Darshan Society of Tisgaon, where both the victim and the accused resided.
The initial investigation revealed that Aditya had proposed to the young girl on two separate occasions, only to face rejection each time. On the night of the incident, witnesses reported that Aditya was seen loitering around the victim’s residence for several hours before she returned home with her mother around 8 PM.
According to reports, as the mother and daughter were ascending the stairs leading to their home, Aditya allegedly ambushed them. He forcefully pushed aside the girl and repeatedly stabbed her with a knife. Despite the victim’s mother’s desperate attempts to intervene, the assailant’s brutal attack proved fatal. The 12-year-old girl collapsed on the staircase, succumbing to her critical wounds.
Neighbors, awakened by the mother’s cries for help, rushed to the scene and managed to apprehend Aditya as he tried to flee. The police were called, and Aditya was taken into custody. Shockingly, he later attempted suicide by consuming phenyl, highlighting his alleged mental instability. Aditya was subsequently hospitalized under police guard.
Senior police inspector Mahendra Deshmukh confirmed that Aditya had been detained while the investigation and interrogation were underway.
In a separate incident, a 25-year-old woman was found dead in a park in Malviya Nagar, South Delhi. The police have apprehended a 28-year-old man named Irfan from Sangam Vihar in connection with the case. According to reports, the victim’s family opposed their planned marriage, leading to strained relations. The 25-year-old victim, a graduate of Kamala Nehru College, was discovered with fatal head injuries.
