Stockholm studio Halleroed, in collaboration with Totême founders Elin Kling and Karl Lindman, has designed the flagship store for fashion brand Totême in London’s prestigious Mayfair area. The store draws inspiration from both Scandinavian and Italian design, featuring elements from the Swedish Grace movement and the architectural work of Carlo Scarpa. The interior design emphasizes the space’s natural light and minimalist feel. The color palette consists of various off-white tones and textures, while the flooring is made of honed limestone with an Opus pattern. The store also showcases artwork, including a sculpture by Carl Milles and a steel sofa by Marc Newson. Vintage Swedish Grace furniture is incorporated, further showcasing the brand’s heritage. Halleroed has previously designed other store interiors, including a Paris boutique and an Acne Studios store in Chengdu. The Totême flagship store aims to maintain a sense of luxury while embracing its Swedish roots.
