Three individuals died in separate accidents reported in the Dakshina Kannada district police limits. An autorickshaw passenger named Mahammad Altaf, 19, sustained injuries and passed away after the vehicle he was traveling in hit a two-wheeler and overturned in Panemangaluru on Monday.
In another accident, a two-wheeler rider, Chidananda Kamath, lost his life after his vehicle collided with a car in Kayarapadpu on the same day. The car driver allegedly fled the scene after the accident occurred.
Additionally, an autorickshaw driver identified as Dinesh K lost his life, and three individuals, including two children, sustained injuries when their autorickshaw overturned in Kainyoor village on Sunday.
Police have registered cases for each of these incidents at the respective traffic police stations. These tragic accidents highlight the importance of road safety and the need for vigilance while driving to prevent such heartbreaking occurrences in the future.
