The police in Amritsar, Punjab, have arrested three men in connection to the murder of gangster Jarnail Singh. According to Director General of Police, Gaurav Yadav, the police arrested the three accused, including Gurmej Singh, who drove the car carrying the four assailants that shot dead Jarnail Singh in May this year. After further investigation, the police discovered that Gurmej Singh drove the car to the crime spot and left the shooters at different places after the incident. Punjab Police had earlier arrested one of the accused involved in the killing, identified as Gurveer Singh. Yadav stated that the police had begun a search operation after establishing the role of ten people accused of Jarnail Singh’s murder. At the time of his killing, Singh, who belonged to the notorious Gopi Ganshampuriya gang, was out on bail.
