The video is of an incident that happened in Lucknow’s Indiranagar where a thief slept inside the house during the robbery and got caught in the morning. The video went viral online and sent the internet into splits because this incident is very rare.
A drunken burglar broke into an Indiranagar doctor’s home on Saturday night. It was hot, so he gathered stuff there and slept in the air conditioning. When the neighbours noticed the broken lock in the morning, they called the police. The thief awoke and was taken into custody when the police came. The accused is the subject of six theft charges. The home of Dr Sunil Pandey is located in Indiranagar B Block, which is still closed, according to ACP Ghazipur Vikas Jaiswal. Dr. Sunil resides in Sector-10 in Indiranagar, which is his second home.
When the neighbours discovered on Sunday morning, they found that Sunil’s residence had an open door with a broken lock. Upon entering, they discovered a youngster dozing off. They called the cops right away. The ACP reports that Samaddipur village resident Kapil Kashyap, who came with the aim of stealing, has been taken into custody.
According to Inspector Vikas Rai, the accused Kapil unlocked the geyser at midnight after entering the home. He gathered everything. Additionally, he broke into the house, removing the AC and other items. He was unable to get money, etc. The accused, a smack addict, is suspected of sleeping there while intoxicated. During questioning, he claimed to have slept off. He considered leaving after a time of sleep, but it was almost daylight and the neighbours and police had shown up.
