When confronted by a voice asking what he was doing, the thief responded, I was born in America too, before draping the flag over his shoulders. The homeowner immediately called the police to report the theft.
Fortunately, the police were able to locate the suspect, who had an outstanding warrant for another crime. He was subsequently arrested, and the stolen flag was confiscated. However, the story doesn’t end there.
