Impaired Driver Weaves Through Traffic, Nearly Collides Head-On

James Grandy stated that police officers were dispatched to a crash at approximately 2 p.m. on August 7, beyond the 10 Mile Slide area on Highway 99. Upon investigation, it was determined that the driver, a 36-year-old woman, was operating the vehicle while impaired. Subsequently, impaired operation of a motor vehicle charges, as well as charges for operating with over 80mg of alcohol, will be submitted to the BC Prosecution Service.
