Telangana’s IT Growth Outpaces India’s Threefold Says KT Rama Rao

Telangana’s IT sector has been experiencing a threefold growth as compared to the national average, stated Information Technology Minister KT Rama Rao. During the 2022-23 fiscal, the state’s IT industry contributed nearly Rs 2.41 lakh crore in IT exports, which surpassed the previous year’s exports significantly. The sector has also created 1,27,594 new jobs, taking the total number of IT jobs in the state to 9,05,715, with 44% of the new IT jobs generated nationwide coming from Telangana alone. Telangana’s success in attracting investments extends to the electronics and energy storage sectors as well. The state has secured investments exceeding Rs 38,000 crore.
