He added that the memorial to pay tribute to hundreds of Telangana martyrs was flawed, as the stainless steel used was proposed to be 8mm, yet only 4mm was used.
Reddy questioned the reasoning behind putting the KCR’s name on the stone engravings in the state, instead of the names of all martyrs. He raised objections about the quality of the newly constructed memorial, citing many defects, such as gaps between the sheets.
The TPCC chief stated that the chief minister of Telangana, K Chandrasekhar Rao, had tarnished the sacrifices made by the martyrs with the alleged corruption, and called for the state government to take responsibility for providing an explanation.
