The President of Telangana Mahila Congress, Sunitha Rao, has challenged the claims made by Chief Minister K Taraka Rama Rao (KTR) that the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) will win up to 100 seats in the upcoming state assembly elections. Rao described KTR’s statement as “incorrect”, pointing out that the people of Telangana are aware of the true nature of the party’s politics. She also highlighted the fact that the BRS has failed to address the real issues facing the state, and has instead focused on misusing state resources. Meanwhile, BJP Spokesperson Rachana Reddy dismissed KTR’s claims, stating that the BRS is facing corruption charges and anti-incumbency. She predicted that the BJP would form the next government in Telangana.
