Telangana Bharatiya Janata Party spokesperson NV Subhash has expressed his condolences over the tragic train accident that happened in Odisha’s Balasore, killing more than 280 people and leaving over a thousand people injured. Subhash appealed to all political parties to extend their support and help in the rescue operation without playing dirty politics in this tragic hour.
While speaking to ANI earlier today, Subhash said that the South-eastern Railway Division witnessed the deadliest train accident in the country, with three trains involved and unfortunately, over 260 people lost their lives. The government of India and other organizations are doing their best to save lives and participate in the rescue operation.
The Telangana BJP organization has extended its support by partnering with other organizations and donating blood voluntarily to help the injured people. The safety of the people of this country is the primary concern of the Central government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Telangana BJP party has also postponed their Parliament Pravas Yojana due to this unfortunate incident.
Subhash said that this is not the time to seek someone’s ouster. Once the investigation is done, whoever is involved in it, action will be taken. Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw has earlier stated that a high-level probe will be conducted into the accident. Railway Safety Commissioner will do an independent inquiry.
The preliminary report has stated that the three-way accident involved the Bengaluru-Howrah Superfast Express, Coromandel Express, and goods train on three separate tracks at Bahanaga Bazar Station in Balasore district. It had said that 17 coaches of these two trains were derailed and severely damaged in the accident that took place on Friday evening.
