Armed Teens Busted For Taking Officers On Pursuit In Carjacked BMW: Baltimore Police
Two teenagers are facing charges after allegedly stealing a woman’s BMW in a carjacking incident in Baltimore, according to the Baltimore Police Department.
Over the weekend, officers responded to a carjacking report on Liberty Heights Avenue. The victim, a woman, stated that she was parked on Saturday night when two armed individuals approached her BMW. They demanded she exit the vehicle before driving off in it.
Thanks to the swift response of law enforcement, a police helicopter was able to locate the stolen white BMW on Braddish Avenue. A brief pursuit ensued, leading to the arrests of two 15-year-olds. One of the perpetrators was armed, and the police later recovered a second weapon that had been discarded from the stolen vehicle.
Both teenagers have been taken to the Baltimore City Juvenile Justice Center to face charges.
