Tragic Incident: Techie Arrested for Horrific Murder of 8-Year-Old Daughter in Hyderabad
In a shocking and horrifying crime, a former techie was arrested for brutally killing his eight-year-old daughter as an act of revenge against his estranged wife. The incident took place in the BHEL Township of Hyderabad when the accused, identified as Kundeti Chandrashekar, picked up his daughter from school and later slit her throat inside his car. The gruesome act came to light after the car hit a divider and passersby discovered the lifeless body of the young girl in a pool of blood.
The motive behind this ghastly act can be traced back to Chandrashekar’s termination from an IT company, where his wife also held a senior position. Blaming his wife for his job loss, he harbored deep resentment towards her and sought to make her suffer by inflicting the ultimate pain – the loss of their beloved daughter.
According to the police, Chandrashekar, a native of Vijayawada in Andhra Pradesh, had married Hima Bindu in 2011. Both of them had worked in the United States before returning to Hyderabad. However, their marriage began to unravel eight months ago when Chandrashekar was dismissed from the IT company. Fueled by anger and jealousy, he constantly fought with his wife, eventually leading her to move out of their marital home with their daughter and seek refuge at her parents’ house.
The victim, Mokshaja, was attending fourth grade at a private school near her grandparents’ residence. Exploiting the strained relationship between his wife and their daughter, Chandrashekar hatched a sinister plan to exact revenge on his wife. On Friday afternoon, he picked up Mokshaja from school and during the car ride, he confronted the innocent child about her mother’s silence. When she innocently advised him to ask her mother directly, his fury reached a boiling point. Without any regard for the life of his own flesh and blood, he mercilessly slit his daughter’s throat with a blade he had brought along.
With Mokshaja’s lifeless body lying on the backseat, Chandrashekar aimlessly drove around, waiting for nightfall to dispose of the evidence. Eventually, his vehicle collided with a divider due to a tire burst near Koheda. This accident attracted the attention of passersby who were shocked to discover the horrific scene inside the car. The police were immediately alerted, and Chandrashekar was apprehended.
The accused has been remanded to judicial custody following his arrest. Authorities are investigating whether the car crash was intentional, with Chandrashekar potentially making an attempt to cover up the murder by staging it as an accident.
