Further examination of the data reveals that the birth rates of tech startups in Sheffield and Doncaster saw increases of 16 percent (reaching 435) and 22 percent (reaching 151), respectively. Rotherham experienced a more modest increase of three percent, resulting in the establishment of 82 new tech startups.
