Tamil Nadu minister, Udhayanidhi Stalin, has urged the Indian government to investigate the cause of the recent tragic train accident in Odisha, India. Stalin stated that the government must take appropriate action against those responsible for the incident. The Tamil Nadu minister visited hospitals in the affected area and confirmed that none of the Tamilian passengers were injured in the incident. Out of the 127 people who had booked their train tickets, 28 were Tamils, out of which 21 were found to be fine. Stalin said the accident should not have happened and demanded that the government investigate and take appropriate actions.
The Railway Board has already recommended that the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) should investigate the accident. Over 275 people died and more than 1000 were injured in the incident. The Railway Board has already begun restoring the damaged railway tracks, with overhead wiring work currently underway. The Tamil Nadu minister visited the hospital to check on the injured people and confirmed that they were in safe hands. The CBI’s investigation will reveal the root cause of the accident and identify any individuals or entities responsible for the incident.
