Nigerian Hajj Commission Limits Madina Stay to Five Days to Avoid Crowding

The Nigerian Hajj Commission (NAHCON) has introduced a new policy to restrict pilgrims to five days in Madina to prevent overcrowding, effective from Thursday. The move comes after complaints about overcrowding of Nigerian pilgrims in Madina City. The policy aims to avoid potential penalties against the country for airlifting more pilgrims into Madina than available accommodation. NAHCON's Deputy Director of Information called for support and understanding from pilgrims and stakeholders. This decision is necessary to prevent possible sanctions and to ensure a successful Hajj.
