The New Government Electrical Factory in Bengaluru is set to become a stunning tree park while preserving its greenery. Split into two phases, it will feature various amenities including an entrance gate, a sports hub, and more.

DDA has submitted Phase I of its Delhi Cycle Walk project plan to the Central Empowered Committee. The project will develop 15km of cycling tracks along the greens of the city to promote pollution-free and green commuting.

The Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation (GVMC) launched an Eco-Vizag campaign encouraging citizens to tackle air and plastic pollution. GVMC staff will conduct inspections and initiate beach cleaning and rainwater harvesting activities to conserve water. The campaign hopes to change habits, strictly enforce plastic bans, and increase greenery. The GVMC plans to appoint enforcement squads, create awareness, fine violators, and control pollution. Flagged off on World Environment Day, this campaign aims to promote environmental protection and awareness.
