ECI to update electoral rolls for 2024 polls with Jan 1, 2024 as qualifying date
The Election Commission of India (ECI) has announced a summary revision of electoral rolls for the 2024 general elections, with January 1, 2024, as the qualifying date. Booth-level officers will conduct house-to-house verification, and eligible citizens can apply for enrolment, objections, and correction from October 17 to November 30, 2023, using the voter helpline mobile app or https://voters.eci.gov.in.
