Tamil Nadu’s Health Minister Ma. Subramanian announced on Tuesday that the arrested minister, V. Senthilbalaji, will undergo heart surgery at a private hospital in Chennai on June 21. Senthilbalaji was initially admitted to a government hospital but was later moved to a private facility due to a court order. The minister was diagnosed with critical blocks which he was not aware of before being arrested by the Enforcement Directorate in a cash-for-jobs scam. On June 14, he took a Coronary Angiogram, and Kauvery Hospital, where he is being treated, advised he undergo bypass surgery as soon as possible.
