A gray SUV, believed to have been involved in the fatal hit-and-run of a young basketball player, has been recovered in Cebu City. The vehicle, identified as a Mazda CX-7, was captured on closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage in the area during the time of the incident. Ramil Ayuman, a special assistant to the mayor, posted on social media that the abandoned SUV was found with a dent in the front on Cabajar Street in Barangay Guadalupe. The vehicle is currently in the custody of the Guadalupe Police Station. Jeslar Uriel Larumbe, a promising basketball player and engineering graduate, tragically lost his life when his motorcycle was struck by the speeding vehicle. The owner of the SUV has been identified, but has since fled. Authorities are now investigating this devastating hit-and-run incident.
