Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty recently voiced his concerns about the skyrocketing prices of tomatoes and how they have impacted his kitchen. In an interview with Aaj Tak, Shetty revealed that he has been consuming fewer tomatoes due to the increase in their prices.
Shetty mentioned that his wife, Mana, only buys vegetables for a day or two to ensure they are fresh. However, the rising prices of tomatoes have affected their kitchen as well. Even as a superstar, Shetty acknowledges that these issues affect everyone.
The actor further explained that the high prices of tomatoes have forced people to compromise on taste and quality. He shared his personal experience of ordering fresh produce from online applications since they offer better prices compared to traditional shops and markets. Shetty, who is also a restaurateur, emphasized the importance of bargaining for the best prices but spoke of having to make compromises due to the expensive tomatoes.
In a separate announcement, Shetty confirmed that the much-awaited film Hera Pheri 3 is finally happening. The actor expressed his excitement about returning to the set with co-stars Paresh Rawal and Akshay Kumar. The shooting for the film has already begun, bringing relief to fans who have been eagerly awaiting its release.
Previously seen in the Amazon Mini TV series Hunter Tootega Nahi Todega, Shetty made his OTT debut as a cop in the show. The series also featured Esha Deol, Barkha Bisht, Karanvir Sharma, and Rahul Dev.
As the prices of essential commodities like tomatoes continue to rise, many individuals, including Bollywood stars like Suniel Shetty, are feeling the effects. While the actor has had to reduce his consumption of tomatoes, he remains hopeful that the situation will improve. With his upcoming film and successful career, Shetty continues to entertain audiences while also dealing with the common challenges faced by many.
