Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) has announced the successful completion of its operational plan for the Hajj season 1444 AH. Despite a significant increase in power demand of up to 4,464 megawatts (MW), no power outages or emergency incidents were reported in Makkah and the holy sites.
SEC’s CEO, Eng. Khaled Al-Qunun, attributed this achievement to the unwavering support of the government, particularly the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and HRH the Crown Prince.
