A group of students from a Mumbai college recently made a presentation on Orhan Awatramani, aka Orry, the Bollywood best friend. Orry is a social media influencer often seen partying with celebs from the B’town. Psychology students at Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) interpreted Orry’s body language to study the verbal and non-verbal communication exhibited by celebs.
Snippets from the presentation have gone viral on social media, along with a video of the students making the presentation. The presentation introduces Orry and then discusses his posture, body language, hand gestures, eye contact, facial emotions, touch, distance, and tone.

Orry recently said that he is invited to weddings not as a guest but as a friend, maybe to the groom or someone else. He said that he is paid anywhere between Rs 15-20 lakh to attend the events.
Orry rose to fame last year after he posted pictures of himself posing with Bollywood celebrities at parties. According to his LinkedIn profile, he is a special projects manager at Reliance Industries Limited.
