Maharashtra School Education Department has announced on Tuesday that students from government schools in Maharashtra will have a standardised uniform. The schools will be provided with cloth by the government to make the uniforms. Moreover, the government will also cover all the expenses related to making the uniform. School Education Minister Deepak Kesarkar spoke about how the move will ensure that students get quality uniforms and ensure that they all look united.
Women Self Help Groups have been assigned to stitch the uniforms. This will not only give a sense of pride among the students, but will also provide the Self Help Groups with a platform for earning an income. This move by the government will make it easier for students to identify which school they come from as well as boost the morale of students and parents.
Jacqueline Fernandez will fly to Abu Dhabi for the IIFA 2023 award show and a Delhi court has granted her permission to do so. She is among the many actors in the Indian film industry who will be attending this award ceremony.
On the other hand, an Indian-origin teenager living in the U.S. has been charged with threatening to kill US President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris. The youth is believed to have posted a death threat tied to his Facebook profile and the Federal Bureau of Investigation has launched a probe into it.
The initiatives taken by the Maharashtra government and the law enforcement agencies across different parts of the world are truly remarkable and inspiring. Such steps, when taken on a global scale, can help create a safe environment for all. It is important to ensure that such threats are taken seriously and dealt with efficiently. By taking such steps, we can spread awareness and ensure a safe society for everyone.
