Sandeep Pande, with more than two decades of experience in the culinary industry, brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to The St. Regis Goa Resort. He has previously served as the Executive Chef at JW Marriott New Delhi Aerocity, where he consistently elevated the hotel’s culinary experiences. Sandeep’s career highlights include opening and positioning the flagship Weligama Bay Marriott Resort & Spa in Sri Lanka, as well as overseeing the successful opening of JW Marriott Kolkata and Fairfield by Marriott Belgavi.
Known for his expertise in multiple cuisines, including Mediterranean, Indian, Thai, and English Pub, Sandeep has also co-authored a book titled ‘Cuisine with Altitude,’ featuring first-class menus from some of the world’s best airlines. Throughout his career, Sandeep has garnered numerous awards and accolades, ensuring that the outlets he oversees always remain at the forefront.
Having worked with Marriott International for several years, Sandeep has served as the Multi-Property Director of Culinary, overseeing dining operations at Renaissance Lucknow and Fairfield by Marriott Lucknow. He has also successfully managed the largest food and beverage operations in India at Renaissance Mumbai and Marriott Executive Apartments as the Executive Chef.
Sandeep’s culinary journey began with the Oberoi Group, where he spent his formative years, including working at the esteemed Oberoi Amarvilas. He has also gained global exposure by training at Michelin-starred restaurants and exploring various gastronomic destinations in London, the South of England, Provence, and Languedoc-Roussillon. Sandeep is a senior member of the UAE Culinary Guild and a member of the National Registry of Food Safety Professionals in the USA.
