The Department of Horticulture of Agricultural University Peshawar in collaboration with the Green Youth Movement and the Higher Education Commission has organized a vibrant spring flower exhibition that will run for approximately three weeks. Over 60 varieties of flowers, including Petunia, Pansy, Internum, Verbena, Mamulus, Alyssum, Carnation, and Godesia, are being showcased, spreading colorful spring hues and enchanting fragrances.
The opening ceremony saw Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Jahan Bakht and Advocate Supreme Court Naveed Akhtar inaugurating the exhibition, emphasizing the need for increased research and development in the field of floriculture. Participants marveled at the display, with Dr. Fazal Wahid highlighting the benefits and types of flowers featured.
The enchanting exhibition has drawn a diverse crowd, including families, children, and individuals from various backgrounds, all captivated by the beauty of the floral showcase.
