Union Minister Smriti Irani responded to Congress sharing a missing poster of her by stating that she was present in her parliamentary constituency. She also sarcastically suggested that if the Congress was looking for the former Amethi MP, referring to Rahul Gandhi, they should contact him in the US. This statement came after the Congress shared a poster of Irani that called her missing while mentioning her role as Minister of Women and Child Development. Additionally, Mahila Congress Acting President Netta D’Souza criticized Irani for being silent on the recent protests by wrestlers, including Olympic medalists, who were forcefully removed by police from their protest site on Jantar Mantar.
