India’s coal supplier and importer, Anmol India, is set to attract attention this month as its shares turn ex-bonus in a 4:1 ratio. The company’s Board of Directors has approved the issuance of four fully paid bonus equity shares of Rs 10 each for every one existing fully paid-up share of Rs 10 each.

To be eligible for the bonus share issue, shareholders must own the shares before the record date on July 18, 2023. This move will see a total of 4,55,31,320 equity shares of Rs 10 each fully paid up being issued out of free reserves and securities premium account.

In addition to the bonus share issue, Anmol India’s Board of Directors has also approved increasing its Authorized Share Capital from Rs 11.5 crore to Rs. 57 crores, pending shareholder approval obtained by Postal Ballot.

Anmol India’s shares have experienced significant growth this year, surging by 58.12% in the calendar year and over 800% in the past three years.

This news comes as positive reinforcement for existing shareholders, as they will benefit from the bonus shares and potential capital appreciation. The 4:1 ex-bonus ratio indicates the company’s commitment to rewarding its shareholders and strengthening investor confidence.

Anmol India’s performance in recent years reflects its strong position in the coal supply and import industry in India. The company has capitalized on the growing demand for coal in the Indian market, which has been driven by industrial expansion and infrastructure development initiatives. As the country continues to rely on coal for its energy needs, Anmol India is well-positioned to capitalize on future opportunities in this sector.

Investors who are considering adding small-cap stocks to their portfolios may find Anmol India an attractive option, given its impressive growth trajectory. However, it’s important to conduct thorough research and consider the risks associated with investing in small-cap stocks.

It’s worth noting that like any investment, there are potential risks involved. Market conditions and regulatory changes could impact the performance of Anmol India and its shares. Investors should carefully assess their risk tolerance and seek professional advice before making any investment decisions.

In conclusion, Anmol India’s upcoming ex-bonus issue presents an opportunity for investors to benefit from bonus shares and the potential for further growth. The company’s strong performance in the past and its foothold in the coal supply and import market make it an appealing option for investors looking for exposure to this sector. However, due diligence and a cautious approach are essential when investing in small-cap stocks.
