The decomposed remains of a missing youth have been discovered in Manipur’s Chandel district. Manipur Police identified the site where a disturbing video was filmed, showing suspected militants decapitating the victim’s head. Following the video’s circulation on social media, a renewed search was conducted, leading to the discovery of decomposed skeletal remains on Wednesday. It is suspected that the remains belong to Ngangom Navy, a 19-year-old who went missing in May of last year. The clothing found with the remains corresponds to the attire worn by the victim in the viral video. Forensic experts are currently examining the remains to confirm the victim’s identity. The decomposed remains have been taken to the JNIMS mortuary for further investigation.
