COLUMBUS, Miss. – In the ongoing investigation into the fatal Thanksgiving Eve shooting that claimed the life of a Columbus teen, authorities have made their sixth arrest. The SWAT Team apprehended 17-year-old Enry Meadows of Clover Street in Columbus, charging him with murder. This comes after 24-year-old Rufus Lee Neal III turned himself in to Columbus police and also received a murder charge. Meanwhile, bond was denied for the other four suspects – 17-year-olds Johnny Coleman, Rasheed Neal, and Kenzel Guyton, along with 18-year-old Travaris Laquond Mixon Jr. This group had their initial appearance in Columbus Municipal Court. The tragic incident occurred at a convenience store located at the intersection of North McCrary Road and Forrest Boulevard, claiming the life of LaBronze Moore. Columbus police have emphasized that the investigation remains ongoing, leaving open the possibility of more arrests in the near future.
