The surgery, performed at Langford Vets Small Animal Referral Hospital, was a collaborative effort involving various specialist teams. Despite the complications, the procedure went smoothly, and Ariel is now recovering well. The pup was named after the character from The Little Mermaid due to her extra appendage resembling a flipper. The successful surgery has given Ariel a new lease on life and a chance to enjoy the joys of being a happy and healthy dog.
