Hyderabad Sikh Delegation Seeks Fair Share in Minority Finance Schemes
A delegation representing the Sikh community in Telangana recently held a meeting with Chairman Minority Finance Corporation, Mohammad Ishaq Imtiaz, to address their concerns and demands. The delegation, comprising prominent Sikh representatives from Hyderabad and Karimnagar, submitted a memorandum highlighting the need for fair allocation of resources and support for the Sikh community.

They stressed the need for special consideration in the selection process for subsidy loans and other beneficial programs, particularly for economically disadvantaged Sikh families living below the poverty line.
The memorandum also shed light on the financial hardships and social inequalities faced by the Sikh community in different districts, including Hyderabad. Responding to the delegation’s concerns, Chairman Ishaq Imtiaz assured them of the government’s commitment to providing adequate representation and support to all minority communities, including Sikhs, Parsis, Buddhists, and Jains. He reaffirmed the state government’s dedication, led by Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, to foster the development and prosperity of every minority group in Telangana.
