Ace Indian table tennis player Achanta Sharath Kamal has announced that preparation for the 2024 Paris Olympics will begin with the Ultimate Table Tennis (UTT) season 4, which takes place in Pune from July 13-30. Sharath stated that while preparations for September’s Hangzhou Asian Games are in their final stages, the focus will ultimately be on winning medals at Paris 2024. Sharath expressed confidence that the Indian squad will perform well at the Asian Games, building on their successes from the 2018 event in Indonesia, which saw India win two bronze medals. Sharath also praised the format of UTT season 3, which he says helped grow the sport and improve Indian players’ performances.
