Several people were injured when a bus traveling on the Agra-Lucknow Expressway overturned on Thursday morning, according to police. The incident, which took place in the city of Etawah, resulted in the injured being immediately transferred to a nearby hospital. Pictures taken at the scene of the accident show the bus overturned on the expressway and shattered glass from broken windshields lying scattered on the road. Authorities have not provided further details at this time.
Meanwhile, on Wednesday, a speeding car collided with a stationary vehicle on the Yamuna Expressway in Mathura, killing two people and injuring four others, according to police reports. A car had pulled off to the side of the expressway after experiencing a flat tire, and two of the victims were said to be repairing the tire when the speeding car from Agra hit them from behind. The two deceased individuals were identified as Yogendra, 70, and Pooja, 32, both residents of Delhi.
