Delhi – In a shocking incident, a domestic help at the residence of Meghalaya Advocate General Amit Kumar was brutally murdered, while another servant was stabbed by two assailants on Monday evening, with the Delhi Police swiftly apprehending the accused. The crime took place at around 9 p.m., and the two accused have been identified as Aman Tiwari, 20, a resident of Bawana, and Jirjish Kazmi, 19, hailing from Meerut in Uttar Pradesh.
The victim, Kamal, was mercilessly strangled to death with an iron cable by the perpetrators, who then callously concealed his body inside a bed at the house. Deepak, the second servant, was stabbed during the ordeal but is currently receiving medical treatment at a local hospital.
According to a senior police official, Kazmi, who was previously employed in the office of Advocate General Amit Kumar, had been dismissed about a month ago. In an apparent act of vengeance as well as an attempt to steal money from the house, he joined forces with Tiwari to carry out the heinous crime.
The official revealed, On Monday, the duo first brutally strangled and murdered Kamal with an iron/press cable and dumped his dead body inside the bed at the house. Then they attacked the other servant Deepak with a knife and tied him with cloth. After that, they tried to break open the money locker with bricks. Meanwhile, Kumar’s son arrived at the scene, and the assailants fled from the house.
Prompt police action and intensive raids across different areas of Delhi resulted in the successful arrest of both culprits. Kazmi was apprehended at a bus stand while attempting to flee to his native place in Uttar Pradesh, and Tiwari was captured at his hideout in Bawana.
