Instead of driving her to safety, Mozingo took her to an outdoor shed where he held her in captivity for several days. The victim’s mother has described the horrifying details of her daughter’s ordeal on a GoFundMe page. She revealed that the woman was tied up, beaten with a baseball bat and fists, and threatened with being set on fire after being doused in gasoline. Additionally, she was repeatedly held at knifepoint, with her life constantly under threat. The victim was even forced to urinate on herself as she was denied bathroom breaks.
In the face of such unspeakable cruelty, the victim drew strength from the thought of her young son, who she thought about every day throughout her ordeal. Tragically, Mozingo allegedly used this deep emotional bond against her, taunting her with the idea of never seeing her child again. According to the victim, the fear she experienced was unbearable, with her life constantly hanging in the balance.
