WILMINGTON, N.C. – The semifinals for the Mideastern boys and both Waccamaw girls and boys basketball tournaments concluded Tuesday night. Wednesday’s games will feature exciting matchups with #1 East Columbus facing off against #4 South Columbus in the Waccamaw Girls tournament at 6pm and #1 Heide Trask hosting #4 Whiteville at 7:30. The Mideastern girls tournament will resume at Brunswick Community College with #1 Hoggard Vikings taking on #5 Ashley Screaming Eagles and #2 New Hanover facing #3 Laney. In the Southeastern Athletic semifinals, #2 West Bladen will battle #3 Midway. Fans can expect intense action as teams compete for a chance to advance in these highly anticipated tournaments.
