Ayodhya Turns Into Fortress With 2 Security Zones As City Gears Up For Ram Lalla’s ‘Pran Pratishtha’ On Jan 22
New Delhi: Security measures have been intensified in Ayodhya as the city prepares for the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ of the Ram Mandir on January 22. In anticipation of the consecration ceremony, a massive influx of devotees from across the country and the world is expected to visit the holy city.
To ensure comprehensive security for the upcoming Ram temple complex, Ayodhya has been divided into two security zones – red and yellow.
Under the red zone, the Ram Janmabhoomi complex, where the temple is situated, will be closely guarded. This zone will witness a significant deployment of security personnel.
The red zone security will be provided by 6 companies of CRPF, 3 companies of PAC, 9 companies of SSF, 300 police personnel, 47 firefighters, 38 NDRF personnel, and 40 Radio Police personnel. Additionally, two teams of the bomb detection and disposal squad, two teams of the anti-sabotage squad, and one commando unit of PAC will also be stationed in the area. Various central agencies, including the NSG, will be deployed to ensure a robust security arrangement.
In the yellow zone, security measures will be in place for the Kanak Bhavan and Hanumangarhi areas, which are also expected to witness a significant footfall.
The security deployment in the yellow zone will include 34 Sub-Inspectors, 71 Head Constables, and 312 Constables. These personnel will work diligently to maintain a safe environment for the devotees.
With a budget of 90 crores allocated for the security of Ayodhya, the authorities aim to provide the necessary equipment and resources to strengthen security measures.
As the highly anticipated ‘Pran Pratishtha’ draws near, authorities are leaving no stone unturned to ensure the safety of all visitors to Ayodhya.
