Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara Institute for Management Development (SDM-IMD) has received re-accreditation from the European Federation of Management Development (EFMD) for its flagship PGDM program. Dr. D. Veerendra Heggade, Chairman of SDM-IMD, accepted the award in Lyon, France on June 12, making SDM-IMD the first institute in India to receive EFMD accreditation in 2017. Vice-President of SDM Educational Trust D. Surendra Kumar and Director-Emeritus of SDM-IMD Dr. N.R. Parasuraman were present during the ceremony.
EFMD is a global, non-profit organization dedicated to management development, with over 17 business schools worldwide affiliated with SDM-IMD’s accreditation. Accreditation enables SDM-IMD to engage in faculty and student exchanges and joint research in management with affiliated institutions.
Currently, 32 students from SDM-IMD are studying at nine Universities/institutes around the world. The network spans across the European Union, Middle East and USA. SDM-IMD’s EFMD re-accreditation empowers the institution to continue increasing its students’ opportunities to develop themselves academically and globally.
SDM-IMD is renowned for providing its students with a unique educational experience that combines academic excellence with service-mindedness.
