Samsung, the renowned technology company, has unveiled the pricing and color options for its latest foldable phones, the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and the Galaxy Z Fold 5, in India. The announcement came during Samsung’s recent Unpacked event held in South Korea on July 26th. These new devices are set to go on sale in various markets, including India, starting from August 11th.
Samsung India confirmed the pricing details for the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and the Galaxy Z Fold 5. The Galaxy Z Fold 5, with a storage capacity of 256GB, will start at INR 154,999 (~$1,891), while the base model of the Galaxy Z Flip 5, with 256GB storage, will cost INR 99,999 (~$1,220). For customers looking for more storage options, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 is available in configurations of 512GB and 1TB, priced at INR 164,999 (~$2,013) and INR 184,999 (~$2,257) respectively. Similarly, the Galaxy Z Flip 5 also offers a 512GB variant, priced at INR 109,999 (~$1,342).
In terms of color options, the Galaxy Z Flip 5 will be available in Cream, Graphite, Lavender, and Mint. On the other hand, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 will come in Cream, Icy Blue, and Phantom Black.
For customers in India, pre-orders for both devices have already begun on July 27th, with the official launch scheduled for August 11th, 2023. Samsung India is offering a range of benefits to those who pre-reserve or pre-order these smartphones, including early delivery. Additionally, customers who pre-reserved the phones ahead of the official announcement will receive a discount of INR 5,000. There will also be a cashback offer available for customers who pre-order the Galaxy Z Flip 5 or the Galaxy Z Fold 5.
Samsung is expected to announce more details about pre-order offers, as well as the pricing for other devices such as the Galaxy Tab S9, Galaxy Tab S9+, Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra, Galaxy Watch 6, and Galaxy Watch 6 Classic.
